Max Space - Media Use Policy

This Media Use Policy explains how you may use images, videos, graphics, logos, and other media (“Media”) displayed on the Max Space Site. It reflects your existing Media Use
Rights document but is tuned to match patterns used by other space companies (e.g., clear copyright ownership, non‑endorsement, and limited non‑commercial / editorial usage).
Unless we clearly say otherwise:
- Media created by Max Space or our contractors (including AI‑assisted content) is owned by Max Space.
- Some Media is licensed from third‑party providers (for example, stock‑image sites, AI tools, or other libraries).
- Some Media may be provided by partners or users who have granted us rights to display it.
All Media is protected by copyright and other intellectual‑property laws.
Except as expressly permitted in this Policy or in a specific notice on the Site (for example, a press kit download page), you may not:
- download, copy, or redistribute our Media;
- use our Media in your own marketing, websites, apps, or products;
- modify our Media and re‑publish it;
- sell or license our Media, or use it for commercial gain.
You are welcome to link to pages on our Site that contain Media, but that does not grant you any rights to reuse the Media itself.
If you want to request a specific use (for example, editorial coverage, documentary use, or inclusion in an event), email contact@getmaxspace.com with details.
From time to time, we may provide certain images or assets (for example, in a press or media kit) with a notice that they may be used for non‑commercial editorial or educational purposes. When we do so, those assets may be used only:
- in connection with accurate news reporting or educational content about Max Space;
- with clear, readable credit to “Max Space” (and any additional credit we specify);
- without modification other than basic resizing or cropping that does not distort the image; and
- without implying that Max Space endorses or sponsors your organization, product, or content.
If any such asset has its own specific terms, those terms control over this section.
We may use imagery provided by third parties, including government space agencies (for example, NASA, ESA, or similar organizations), commercial partners, or stock‑media services.
- Use of such imagery on our Site does not imply endorsement of Max Space by those agencies or organizations.
- Our use is subject to their licensing terms and guidelines.
- You may not assume you can reuse such imagery just because you see it on our Site. If you wish to reuse it, you must review and comply with the original provider’s rules or obtain their permission.
If you upload or submit any Media to us (for example, via a form, email, or collaboration):
- you confirm that you own or control the necessary rights; and
- you grant Max Space a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use, reproduce, display, and adapt that Media as reasonably needed to operate, promote, or improve our Services and communications.
You remain responsible for ensuring your Media does not infringe anyone else’s rights (including privacy or publicity rights).
You must not use Max Space Media to:
- suggest that Max Space endorses or is affiliated with your products, services, or organization, without our written permission;
- create a false or misleading impression about Max Space or our partners;
- violate any law or infringe any third‑party rights;
- create defamatory, obscene, hateful, or otherwise unlawful content.
If you believe any Media on our Site infringes your copyright or violates a license, please email media@getmaxspace.com with:
- a description of the Media;
- the URL where you saw it; and
- an explanation of your rights in the content.
We will review and, where appropriate, update or remove the Media.
